Refund Policy
Effective date: August 14, 2026
Overview
We want you to be satisfied with Firedesk. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for all paid subscriptions.
Free Trial
All new departments start with a free 30-day trial. No credit card is required to begin your trial, so there is nothing to refund if you choose not to continue.
Cancellation
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have full access until your current billing period expires, at which point sign-in is disabled until you subscribe again. Your department's data is not deleted when access ends — see the Data Retention section of our Privacy Policy. Contact us before or after cancelling if you need an export.
No Refunds for the Current Billing Period
All subscription charges are non-refundable. When you cancel, you will not be charged for any future billing periods, but the current billing period is not eligible for a refund — whether you are billed monthly, quarterly, or annually. This applies regardless of how much of the billing period remains.
Changing How Often You Are Billed
Firedesk has a single plan, so there is nothing to upgrade or downgrade. You may switch between monthly, quarterly, and annual billing at any time from your account settings. All three cadences charge the same effective monthly rate — they exist for your treasurer's convenience, not as discount tiers. Switching is handled by our payment processor, which prorates the change against your current billing period.
Exceptions
If you believe you were charged in error or experience a technical issue that prevented you from using the Service for a significant portion of a billing period, please contact us. We will review your case and may issue a credit or refund at our discretion.
